Image of the day – Nooni & horse

This lovely portrait of Nooni was taken as part of an album portfolio in Dubai. Nooni was hoping to horse jump competitively for the UAE at the time of this shoot and there was a very obvious close bond between the two of them – we created a beautiful set of images that afternoon – this image now hangs as a 1m wide canvas at her home

Image of the Day – Keavy Lynch

Another group that I worked with very regularly was the UK girl group, B*witched! We did a huge amount of shoots together and this was taken at the Malmaison hotel in Newcastle during the girl’s UK tour. Although the group have all gone their separate ways, sisters Keavy and Edele now continue to perform under the name of Ms Lynch

Image of the day – S-Club’s 7 & 8

I worked for a couple of years as one of the official photographers for S-Club 7 shooting mainly PR and merchandising stuff plus many editorial shoots. As far as I know this was the first and only shoot of both groups together, S-Club Juniors (8) were fairly short lived and never enjoyed the success of their predecessors, however, two of the girls, Rochelle and Frankie are now members of the current girl group, The Saturdays!

Image of the day – Jess

I took this in a hurry! I was about to leave for the airport when I remembered that we needed a picture to put on the invite for my daughter, Jess’s 18th party invite. I threw up a white projection screen (in our living room) as the background, used one main soft light and called Jess to get herself ready – and quickly! This is the result and I’m so pleased that we did it – it now hangs as a large framed print in our living room.

Image of the day – Skateboarder

I shot this at the Lakes in Dubai – this guy was passionate about skateboarding and his parents wanted it captured on print! We set up the skate ramp in the street and I lay on the ground beneath it – each time he jumped I rolled out the way to avoid being landed on – I think we ended up with a pretty cool shot – now hanging as a large canvas at his home!
